The main access lid is quite large (around 1000mm x 700mm in size) and is the top most section of the tank itself. There will also be one or two IP (Inspection Points) along with a breather pipe. IP’s are only around 150mm in diameter and are most often at ground level, with a screw on cap. IP’s are usually found at the beginning and at the end of the septic tank, so somewhere between these 2 points you should find the lid. We require the main lid to be accessible upon arrival. It is necessary to expose and dig up the entire lid for us to complete a service.
